pes77 Beautiful and soulful release by this talented guy from Canada. Cross references to past collaborator K-Os are not far to seek, especially since both artists blend rapping and singing. But Ian Kamau's "One Day Soon" easily outshines his companion's recent output. Favorite track: 04 Yesterdays.

The Cornerstone Network TO represent. Ian Kamau goes deep on this LP. Production is smooth and lyrics hit hard. I can honestly say this LP helped me on a personal level. Peace and Much Respect Favorite track: 11 Black Boys.

Jez Collins Beautifully wordplay, great flow and mellow backing on this fantastic jazzy hip hop lp from Canada Favorite track: 02 Heading Home.

Groove Concept Radio Great Canadian Hip-Hop artist, with conscious lyrics and top notch production. A staple on Groove Concept Radio Favorite track: 10 Hopes & Dreams ft. Karen Nile.

Mannie I couldn't pass on some great hip hop spoken word. I'd always enjoyed Kamau's features on various projects, but the time had come to receive a complete album from the great poet. "Black Bodies" resonated with me. Favorite track: 08 Sleeping Giant w/ Ndichu N'gethe.
